One of the UK's biggest retailers, Tesco, may be about to offer its store managers access to Windows Phones. A post from a Windows Central reader in our forums claims to have inside information on this deal.
The post comes from "afgzee" who writes:
"This is not on the news or anything but I work for a company called Tesco which is a British supermarket (and has store locations in some other European countries) will begin rolling out Windows Phones (probably Nokia ones) to managers and stores in the next few weeks which is great news."
Tesco is the UK's biggest supermarket retailer and has offered its apps for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 in the past. It also sells Microsoft's Lumia devices and even sells its own branded 7-inch Windows 8.1 tablet. We do not have confirmation if this tip is accurate or not, but we hope to get more information on this soon. If this is true, it could be a big help to Microsoft to expand the reach of Windows Phone.
