ASUS's Republic of Gamers brand is more than just their gamer-focused products; it's also a community of gamers and builders that create some truly awesome rigs.
You can't buy either of these computers, but you can dream about putting together your own. These ROG ASUS gaming PCs feature top-of-the-line hardware inside, but it's the design itself that really piques our interest. Honestly, we'd kill to have either on our desk (just like we wouldn't mind having any of the custom boxes ASUS showed at Computex earlier this year). There's not much that we can really say about these rigs that wouldn't be better served by just showing you these rigs. So that's exactly what we're going to do.
In addition to these ridiculous custom designs, ASUS was also showing off their new slim ROG G20 Special Edition desktop gaming PC. It's a compact (by gaming PC standards) tower with a 6th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X GPU at its heart. It's narrow, short, and comes in an angular matte black case with "Mayan-inspired markings." The case is built around convection cooling with hidden airflow channels and a pair of internal fans. And because it's an ASUS ROG machine, there's a customizable set of front-facing LED effects that can be programmed to the game playing or your favorite jams.
ASUS also has a new ROG gaming headset on tap, offering 7.1-channel surround sound that comes with its own USB audio station that combines discrete audio controls, active noise cancelation, a dedicated amplifier, and can serve as a standalone USB audio card.
