Launched in 2011 and conceptualized by celebrity chef, Sanjeev Kapoor, Food Food is a popular food and food lifestyle channel in India.
The Food Food Official app just landed on the Windows Phone Store last week. The app is published by Zenga Media, a premium mobile TV service in India. Surprisingly, the app is not region locked, so fans of diverse Indian cuisines across the world can learn about the food and culture in India.
Within the app, you can watch the videos from shows on Food Food as well as live feed of the channel. You can also rewind the live feed in case you happen to miss something or want to watch the process or list of ingredients again. The recipe videos are categorized by the shows they appear in. You can search for videos, and mark a video as favorite, so that you can revisit it later. The app offers two quality options and the company claims that the videos can be viewed on WiFi, 3G, and 2G as well.
If you are a foodie or obsessed with cooking television, try out the Food Food Official app and let us know how you like it (or how the dish you cooked turned out to be). The app is ad-supported, and available for free for Windows Phone 7.x and Windows Phone 8 devices from the Windows Phone Store.
