Titanfall 2, the sci-fi shooter sequel from developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts, has gone gold one month ahead of its release on October 28 on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also, new 4K gameplay footage from the PC version has been released.

The "gone gold" announcement, which means major development work on Titanfall 2 has been completed and the disc versions are being replicated for shipment, was made by Respawn co-founder and CEO Vince Zampella on his Twitter account:

NVIDIA also released some great looking footage from the PC version of Titanfall 2, running at 4K resolution on one of its high-end Titan X graphics cards. Respawn has already revealed the minimal, recommended and Ultra 4K PC system requirements for the game.
