Electronic Arts has announced that its mech-based shooter franchise, Titanfall, will be receiving a single-player campaign for its second iteration.
The original Titanfall launched during the early days of the Xbox One, offering a standalone multiplayer experience which required online connectivity. This time around, Respawn Entertainment is introducing a deeper narrative which establishes a meaningful relationship between the Titans and their pilots. This is a major change in approach to the universe's lore, which was mostly ignored in the first game. From the trailer provided by EA, we expect the campaign to focus on Rifleman Jack Cooper, and his relationship with Titan BT7274.
The trailer above gives a teaser for the game's single-player campaign, available as a part of Titanfall 2 on October 28th, on Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Origin.
