Tubecast update brings support for new casting services

The latest update to the popular YouTube app for Windows, Tubecast, bumps it up to version 3.1 and brings some great new features along with it. Included in this update is support for new streaming services, new pairing options, bug fixes, and more. The universal changelog for Tubecast includes:

  • New cast devices supported: ROKU, GoogleTV, Pairing (for not DLNA Youtube app like PS4, some Smart TV, etc.)
  • Newsfeed empty for some users fixed
  • Chromecast bug fixes
  • PHILIPS TV DLNA bug "file not supported" fixed
  • Memory optimization for low-end devices (no more out of memory, specially in landscape)
  • Improve list virtualization performances
  • UI & Bugs fixes

The update is pushing out for both Windows Phone and Windows 8.1, so be sure to update to version 3.1.
