It's not exactly unexpected, but at Build 2016, Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, dropped the official bomb that there is a Unified Windows Store coming our way. We don't know when, but we do know that we'll hear more about it during Microsoft's E3 presentation in June.
The idea of cross-buy and cross-play is something that's slowly coming to life, and the Store news comes alongside the news that UWP apps will be made available on the Xbox One.
The new Store will have support for bundles, pre-orders and season passes, all of which are currently found in the Xbox One store. It's still a little way off, but it's happening. It's really happening.
Stay tuned to our liveblog for more from Build 2016 as it happens!
