Welcome to the latest edition of This Week in Xbox One News.

The pre-E3 rumors continue with some 'Slim' documentation

Xbox One Two?

This week has, once again, been all about the pre-E3 rumor mill. Microsoft appears to have let slip the existence of the Xbox One "Generation 2", thanks to manufacturing documents leaked to NeoGAF.

The document seems to detail a project that has been in development since 2014, entering mass production this past February – producing 400,000 units per week. The object detailed in the document refers to an item weighing around 1.5 pounds, far below the Xbox One's current weight of 7 pounds. Either that information reveals the document as a fake, or it could be referring to a single part of the complete package. Combined with other recent rumors and claims, it's certainly starting to look like we could see brand new hardware unveiled in just over a month at this year's E3.

Call of Duty: to infinity and beyond!

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare

Not to be outdone, Activision suffered a round of its own leaks this week, as the next instalment in the Call of Duty franchise seems to have broken cover. Dubbed Infinite Warfare, the next Call of Duty is widely expected to take the franchise to new heights, at least literally. Moving deeper into science fiction territory, Infinite Warfare is widely expected to take place in space, as suggested by the supposedly leaked store listing card pictured above (via VideoGamer).

The same leak depicts a re-mastered edition of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the title which arguably marked the franchise's ascension into full blockbuster territory. There's no word on yet on whether CoD4 will be sold separately, but a separate leak indicates that we could see Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare revealed as early as next week. If true, it would put it head to head with EA's Battlefield 5 reveal, slated for this Friday.

Giveaway – The Witcher 3 Xbox One Expansion Pass

Witcher 3 Expansion Pass

To celebrate the upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3 we're giving away the season pass!

The pass not only grants access to last year's Heart of Stone expansion but also the upcoming Blood and Wine expansion – which adds a vast, new playable area to the game. The expansion pass adds 30-40 hours to the existing game, which by itself will quite easily eat 100+ hours for a completionist playthrough. The winner was MartinsLV! Congrats!

And that's a wrap!

This week I somehow managed to pre-order DOOM's collector's edition despite promising myself I wouldn't buy another CE after Bethesda convinced me Fallout 4's Pip-Boy Edition truly was 'limited', leading to me picking it up from a scalper on Ebay at around 100% mark-up. I have some kind of addiction.

I'm also about to hit The Division's first Incursion, Falcon Lost, ahead of our 'full experience' review, which should land early next week.

What have you lovely people been playing this week? Let us know in the comments!
