WhartonBrooks has announced a postponement of its "meet and greet" event at the WestFarms Mall Microsoft Store location in Connecticut that was planned for Saturday, Sept 10. The event was designed to promote its upcoming, and still mysterious, Windows 10 Mobile smartphone.
The company made the announced of the delay on its Twitter page:
Postponing Saturday Meet & Greet event @MicrosoftStore. Supporting partners want to join in-we need time to align schedules-our apologies— whartonbrooks (@whartonbrooks) September 8, 2016
There's no word on a new date for the event. WhartonBrooks, which is based in Connecticut, first announced its plans to launch a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone in August. At the time it boasted the phone would "radically change the mobile computing industry." However, it has kept most of the specific details about the device to itself for now.
