It’s been a couple of weeks since we last saw WhatsApp get updated. Like Facebook, WhatsApp is one of the most used apps on Windows Phone, so it’s always great to see some tidying up on the app.

Today, version 2.11.298 has landed on the Store and while it doesn’t pack a punch, it does bring along with it two minor tweaks.

WhatsApp version 2.11.298

  • New languages: Arabic, Greek
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes

Arabic and Greek support are actually two big features, especially if you live in those regions that rely on those languages.

Miscellaneous bug fixes is so generic, there’s just not much to say about it. Things have evidently gotten better, but who knows what they really are.

So file this update on under maintenance as we await new features and hopefully a more colorful looking design in the future.

Pick up WhatsApp version 2.11.298 here in the Store. Thanks, everyone, for the tips
