Back in April, AMD CEO Lisa Su let slip that Windows 10 will hit RTM status by July. That statement is being corroborated by a well-known Russian leaker WZor, who revealed on twitter that the RTM is confirmed for July.
The release of Windows 10 RTM has been confirmed for July 2015— WZor (@WZorNET) May 27, 2015
The timing coincides with Windows 10-based product launches occurring ahead of the back-to-school season. Lenovo announced earlier today that the ThinkPad 10 — a 10-inch tablet powered by Windows 10 — will launch in the month of August. Releasing the RTM in July will give Microsoft enough of a headroom to tackle any last-minute bugs that OEMs encounter.
