As part of the recent release of the latest Windows 10 Mobile build, 14267, Mojis, the emoji-like characters that first appeared in Skype, can now be used in Microsoft's built-in Messaging app. Mojis are animated, and more expressive than standard emoji.

Emoji have also been sorted by category, with categories found at the bottom of the keyboard.

In addition to these Messaging enhancements, Windows 10 Mobile build 14267 also increased the number of apps that can run in the background. If your device has the memory for it, you can now have up to 16 apps running in the background at a time.

Build 14267 is available now for Windows Insiders on the Fast release ring.
