On July 29, Microsoft officially launched Windows 10 worldwide. Three months later, a new report claims that the operating system has since been installed on over 120 million PCs.

The unconfirmed report comes from WinBeta, using unnamed sources. Microsoft's official statement on Windows 10 came a few weeks ago when it stated that over 110 million PCs had installed the OS.

Microsoft's official goal is to have some form of Windows 10 installed on over one billion devices three years after its launch. The company will see a big boost to that number on November 12 when it releases the New Xbox One Experience for all owners of the console.
