Windows 10 launched on July 29 as a free downloadable upgrade for Windows 7 and 8.1 users, and as promised, the company celebrated the milestone with 13 invite-only events around the world. Microsoft has now posted a video showing highlights from some of those Windows 10 launch parties.

The video has footage from the fan-based events in Singapore, Beijing, India, New York City, Sydney and other locations. Windows Insiders in those locations were invited to check out Windows 10 PCs and demos, and mostly just to have a good time (as we did in Delhi and London!). As we reported earlier this week, Microsoft has already upgraded 67 million PCs with Windows 10. The video also focuses on Microsoft's "#UpgradeYourWorld" charity campaign, including a look at company CEO Satya Nadella efforts in Kenya this week to help schools get up to speed on Windows 10 as well as other technologies.
