Windows Central app for Windows 10 updated with login and startup fixes

The Windows Central App for Windows 10 and Mobile is getting a small patch today. We have been hearing from users about issues about stability and performance and have been prioritizing those over adding new features.

Windows Central build 26 (1.1.26) is now live in the Store for many of you and here is what you can expect:

Windows Central App 1.1.26 (build 26)

  • Improved: Faster startup times and article loading especially on Mobile
  • Fixed: Login crashing bug
  • Fixed: App should no longer crash on resume in rare instances

Hopefully, we'll all see some gains in these areas with this update. If the app update is not live for you just yet give it some time to hit your regionalized store.

Many of these fixes are some of the top issues users have reported on our Windows Central UserVoice page so make sure you keep taking advantage of that tool to help us help you.

Let us know what you think of the update in comments.
