Windows 10

As we reported earlier today, our sources are telling us that Microsoft plans to release the "Threshold 2" fall update for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile on Thursday, November 12. Now Windows Insider leader Gabriel Aul has hinted strongly that members of the Windows Insider program may get new preview builds of Windows 10 to test this week.

In a post on his Twitter account, Aul wrote:

"We have a couple of builds that are looking good in internal rings. It's possible we'll see them later this week to Fast."

Last week, Microsoft released new preview builds for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile to Windows Insiders on the same day for the first time, and Aul's post hints that might happen again this week as well. However, it is ambiguous.

As we mentioned earlier, our sources have told us that build 10586 will be the one that's most likely to be labeled as the Fall Update for Windows 10 on November 12.
