Trapped Birds for Windows Phone

Trapped Birds is a Windows Phone game that comes across as a play on Angry Birds (with the story line) but the game play doesn't include a sling shot. Trapped Birds is a physics puzzle game where you spin your trapped bird through a puzzle of jumps, loops, and ramps to rescue its egg.

The game reminds me a lot of Daredevil Mouse (which incidentally has been pulled from the Marketplace) and for good reason. The two physics games were developed by QBM5.

Trapped Birds

For whatever reason, your trapped bird is...well... trapped in a hamster ball. Your job is to spin the ball left or right to jump over, navigate loops and other obstacles to reach the egg sitting on the other side of the screen.

Spin controls are at the bottom of the screen and spin your hamster ball in the respective direction. Double tap the control to give your hamster ball a bit of a boost. As you progress through the levels, the game gets a little more challenging.  Asides from jumps, ramps and what knots Trapped Birds adds bouncy surfaces (indicated in yellow) that adds a little spring to the birds bounce.

Trapped Birds

Trapped Birds has thirty two levels of play that can be re-played. Your score is based on the number of birds it takes to make it to the egg. That is the least amount of birds that fall off the screen to their demise.

For the most part, Trapped Birds is an enjoyable game that isn't a bad time waster. There were a few stability issues but not enough to pull your hair out over. Trapped Birds is a free, ad supported game that you can find here at the Windows Phone Marketplace.
