Microsoft's Chinese division Microsoft Online has launched a Windows Phone app that adapts the recently posted TwinsOrNot.net site. Like that page, the app has been created to help people find their twin, or find anyone else's twin, by uploading images.
You may remember that the TwinsOrNot.net site was made by a Microsoft employee in his spare time to show how the company's facial recognition APIs could be used in different ways. Microsoft first announced the APIs with its How-Old.net site that was also adapted by Microsoft Online as a Windows Phone app.
The TwinsOrNot app works just like the web site. Users can upload their own images from their Windows Phone to compare them to others, or they can use Bing to search for photos on the web.
