Like surfing the internet for interesting photographs? How about just sifting through Flickr's most interesting photos for the day? Need an easy way to find new lock screen wallpaper? With WP7 Explore, you can do just that from your Windows Phone.

Designed with simplistic navigation, WP7 Explore offers you access to Flickr's photos. The application pulls images from Flickr daily and lays them out in thumbnail fashion on the main screen. If you want to view more images, simply pull down the arrow that is at the top of the screen.

Tapping on a specific image will pull it up full screen where you can view the image on Flickr (via Internet Explorer), save the image as your lock screen wallpaper or email the image to a friend (just pull down on the arrow to get the menu options).

From the main thumbnail page you do have a few settings (the gear button) to reset the cache of images, rate the app, send feedback to the developer, and access a brief help file.

In giving WP7 Explore a short test drive, I found it to be a stable, fun application. It can reveal some very stunning, high quality images. There is a trial version available with the full version of WP7 Explore running $.99. You can find both here (opens Zune) at the Marketplace.
