WWE Network cancels British arrival minutes before launch

Today the WWE Network was finally supposed to launch in the UK but with minutes to spare plans were cancelled. Wrestling fans were gearing up to start feasting on the vault of content available via the Xbox One and Xbox 360 apps that was about to be made available to them from 8 p.m. local time. But, just 20 minutes before hand the official WWE Network Twitter account broke the bad news.

This is reflected by a similar message on the WWE website, too. There's no word of what caused the launch to be pulled at the eleventh hour, nor is there any word on when the service will now launch in the UK.

The service first launched to the world at CES back in January and boasts on-demand access to the enormous vault of WWE content and live pay-per-view events for just $9.99 a month with apps for Android, iOS, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku as well as being available through the browser.
