Microsoft's eSports platform is coming to Windows 10, allowing gamers and eSports companies to create tournaments directly on their PCs.

Using the Xbox app for Windows 10, users will be able to access an Xbox Arena section that lets you create custom tournaments based around all sorts of criteria and games, further enhancing the social features of the platform.

Once a tournament has been created, the criteria has been has been selected and the participants selected, combatants will be pulled directly into the game from a notification on Xbox Live, accessible on the apps on PC, mobile devices and the Xbox console itself.

Arena is only available in Preview on the Xbox One in the US right now, but presumably it will be rolling out more broadly with the Creators Update in 2017.
