Xbox head Phil Spencer: E3 2016 could be 'one of our most special years ever'

In a video interview streamed on Microsoft's Xbox Facebook Live feed, Phil Spencer said that E3 2016 could be 'one of our most special years ever'.

The Facebook Live video was streamed by Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb from the Microsoft Store in Los Angeles, as fans got in line to get tickets for the company's Xbox FanFest. Spencer said in the interview that he looked back to events like Zero Hour, the 2005 launch event in the Mojave Desert for the Xbox 360 console, as a major moment for the division. He added:

I think there are certain moments in Xbox history that Xbox fans ... think of as important years. I think this will be one of those years."

Windows Central will be at Microsoft's E3 2016 press event on Monday, June 13, which will begin at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time (9:30 a.m. Pacific Time) for first hands reports of what Microsoft will be officially revealing for the Xbox One.
