Xbox One 1TB Elite Console officially goes on sale, but will likely be hard to find

If you are a hardcore console gamer, but have yet to get a Xbox One, Microsoft's latest version might be to your liking. Officially, the Xbox One 1TB Elite Console is now on sale for $499. It bundles the previously released Xbox Wireless Elite Controller with a console that has a Solid State Hybrid drive for storage in place of its normal hard drive.

Microsoft says:

"In addition to a matte finish, the Xbox One Elite Bundle includes a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive, which stores frequently-accessed files on a solid state partition and optimizes system performance so you can get to the action up to 20 percent faster from energy-saving mode."

Much like how supplies of the Xbox Wireless Elite Controller are hard to find at the moment, online shipments of the Xbox One 1TB Elite Console are not currently available from the Microsoft Store or GameStop's websites. However, some of their physical store locations might have them available to buy. Those two retailers will be the only official places to purchase this version of the console in the US during the month of November.
