Save an additional $20 on the already discounted Xbox One right now

It seems now is a great time to be in the market for an Xbox One. Hot off of the heels of announcing the slimmer and more powerful Xbox One S due this fall, Microsoft has dropped the price of the original console to just $279.

According to the fine print, this price is set to last from June 14 through October 1, so you've got some time to decide. Given Microsoft plans to launch the upcoming Xbox One S in August at $299 for a 500GB console, however, it's likely the original will stay at this new price.

The console was already at a low of $299 heading into E3, so this drop just sweetens the deal even further. If you don't plan to pick up an Xbox One S — or even next year's Scorpio — this is definitely worth a look, particularly when you consider the bundled games.
