Microsoft has kicked off a new advertising campaign to promote the newest price cut of the Xbox One, which is now available in the UK for £299.99 through official channels.
Just like the Xbox One previous price drop, bringing down the video game console to just £329.99, Microsoft is promoting this change as a retailer promotion rather than a price cut. A company spokesperson informed Eurogamer:
"This is a UK-only retail promotion, and offers great value for fans looking to buy an Xbox One ahead of the launch of 2015's highly-anticipated games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and Batman: Arkham Knight, along with Xbox exclusives such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6 and Halo 5: Guardians.
It's not currently known as to whether or not this cut is temporary or is the new price for the Xbox One in the UK. That said, if you want an incredible temporary deal, Asda is still running it's £249 promotion until; April 16 where you can bag yourself a new console and Halo: Master Chief Collection.
