Xbox One release roundup for the week of August 22, 2016

The month of September is just around the corner and with that, comes a huge onslaught of titles prior to the holidays. As the summer drought concludes, this week's line-up was packed with a number highly-anticipated of triple-A releases.

This week, Square Enix released the next entry to the Deus Ex franchise, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided which scored mostly positive reviews across the board. Electronic Arts also debuted this year's release of its football franchise, Madden NFL 17. Other highlights over the week included Team17's Worms W.M.D and the first-person adventure title, Valley.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Looking forward

Next week is packed with a strong line-up of ID@Xbox titles, including the highly-anticipated first-person puzzler, The Turing Test. A horror classic, Resident Evil 4, also hits the Xbox One on Tuesday, with reworked 1080p visuals and an increased frame rate.
