New this week for Xbox One: Inside & Limbo Bundle, Boom Ball 2 For Kinect

The holidays are just around the corner, with game launches beginning to wind down ahead of the new year. With a strong year of releases coming to a close, only a few indie titles are left before it starts getting festive.

Although this week doesn't mark the debut of any huge titles, some unique products are rolling out over the period. Kinect users are getting yet another title, with the release of Boom Ball 2 For Kinect from Virtual Air Guitar Company. Playdead's most successful releases also make their way into a single package this week, with Inside & Limbo Bundle for Xbox One.

Our top picks this week:

Boom Ball 2 For Kinect

New Kinect titles are hard to come by nowadays, making Boom Ball 2 for Kinect a tempting title for many. Although Microsoft's Kinect efforts have almost entirely depleted, a few smaller developers are still going out of their way to deliver Kinect-integrated titles. Virtual Air Guitar Company is an example of a developer with these intentions, delivering the follow-up to Boom Ball For Kinect this Wednesday.

Similar to the arcade classic, Breakout, Boom Ball 2 For Kinect requires players to destroy blocks by bouncing a projectile in a narrow environment. With the Kinect tracking both your hands, they can be used to deflect the ball into various portions of the map. The game also supports two-player cooperative play, allowing a duo to take down levels together.

Boom Ball 2 For Kinect launches on Wednesday, December 21 exclusively on the Xbox Store.

Inside & Limbo Bundle

The Inside and Limbo Bundle brings together two adventures from the distinguished indie developer, Playdead, offering two haunting adventures for players to endure. Both Inside and Limbo are included in the package for a single, reduced price.

The Inside & Limbo Bundle is available from Thursday, December 22 for the Xbox One.
