New this week for Xbox One: Dead Rising 4, Gigantic

A new week of Xbox One releases is here, including two highly anticipated Xbox-exclusives. Among this week's biggest titles is Dead Rising 4, which takes unrivaled mass-zombie-slaughter to the living room. Four-player cooperative play will make its debut this time around, alongside new zombies and weapons to slay them with. The Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive MOBA, Gigantic will also be entering Xbox Game Preview this Thursday, packed with a unique roster of characters and weapons.

Our top picks this week:

Dead Rising 4

Kicking off this week, Frank West makes a return to the Dead Rising, in the next installment of the zombie-slaughtering franchise. Building on the successes of the first three games, Dead Rising 4 is looking to take its comical violence to new heights, diverging from the somber tone of today's zombie titles.

The game is also introducing a number of new features, including four-player cooperative multiplayer, new classes of zombies, and dozens of gadgets to experiment with. These can be found in the game's diverse open world sandbox, now draped in Christmas attire.

Dead Rising 4 is available for both Xbox One and Windows 10 on Tuesday, December 6, but won't support Xbox Play Anywhere.

Gigantic

Motiga is opening the gates to its free-to-play MOBA this week, as Gigantic enters Xbox Game Preview. After being available to a closed audience on Xbox One and Windows 10 for quite some time now, Gigantic will soon be accessible to all members of Xbox Live. Also being opened up on Windows 10, players can experience the game between both systems with cross-platform multiplayer.

Although the game is still in development, Gigantic is already packed with unique heroes, maps, weapons, and abilities. This will continue to change with player feedback, followed by an official release sometime next year.

Gigantic will be available on both Xbox One and Windows 10 on Thursday, December 8.
