A new week of Xbox One releases is here, kicking off the month of November with a small range of titles. This week's lineup is headlined by Dishonored 2, which inherits a number of mechanics from the first game paired with a new narrative focusing on Emily Kaldwin. Other notable releases include Cartoon Network's side-scrolling brawler game Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers and 10tons' shoot 'em up Xenoraid.

Our top pick this week:

Dishonored 2

This week's biggest launch is Dishonored 2, taking players back the supernatural world originally introduced back in 2011. Expanding beyond the city of Dunwall, the game takes place in the wind-powered city of Karnaca, where parasitic 'Bloodflies' and city guards roam the streets.

Dishonored 2's gameplay mostly derives from the original game, giving players a wide array of supernatural power and tools. Like the first title, Dishonored 2's most unique aspect is its focus on player choice and how this affects the surrounding world. Whether you go in guns blazing or without harming a soul, Dishonored 2's story will unfold depending on your actions as a player.

For the first time, players will also get the choice of playing as two separate characters - Empress Emily Kaldwin or her father and protector, Corvo Attano. Continuing on from the events of the first game, players must reclaim power after an "otherworldly usurper" steals the throne.

Dishonored 2 releases on Friday, November 11, 2016. If you choose to pre-order ahead of launch, a remastered version of the first game will also be provided for free on Xbox One.
