Update: Looks like the sale has ended as the prices for both versions of the Xbox One S have returned to normal at Amazon
Amazon is already cutting the price of Microsoft's Xbox One S 2TB Launch Edition down by $40, from $399.99 to $359.99. It has also cut the price of the more recently launched 500GB Halo bundle for the console by $30, down from $299.99 to $269.99.
It is a bit unusual to see price cuts for consoles that have just launched, but perhaps this is just part of a Labor Day-related sales event at Amazon. In any event, the price to get your hands on Microsoft's latest smaller version of the Xbox One, along with its support for 4K video and HDR gaming, is a bit smaller now. The 2TB version of the console does not come with free games, but the 500GB Halo bundle comes with a disc copy of Halo 5: Guardians and a code for a free digital download of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
