Xbox One owners can now jump into the eSports craze by creating and running their own tournaments with games on Microsoft's console. Gfinity's newly launched Xbox One app is the first to offer those users the ability to build their own tournaments.

Gifinity's press release states:

For the first time in console history, you will be able to conveniently create and manage your own cups, leagues, ladders and competitions directly from your Xbox One. Whether you're inviting your friends to a private ladder to uncover who the best Rocket League player is, setting up a Halo league in the office, or running your own FIFA head-to-head knockout cup, our app can facilitate it. Play for bragging rights, who buys the next round or just because. We hope to see many amateur and professional competitions blossom; both within our own community and beyond!

To help celebrate the launch of the app, Gfinity is holding a Rocket League Xbox One Tournament for North America and Europe. The tournament was built and will run in the Gfinity app and has a total prize pool of $2,000.
