If you were hoping that Microsoft would release a new build for Windows 10 today, you can take a moment and relax. Windows Insider head Gabriel Aul has already announced on his Twitter account that there won't be a new preview build of the OS released today.
In a blog post a few months ago, Aul mentions that the Windows team likes to avoid releasing new builds on Fridays. However, that doesn't appear to be the case anymore as the team has indeed launched new builds for both Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile on Fridays, including one just last week. Aul references that previous statement about avoiding Friday build launches in his Twitter message this morning:
"Yeah, I guess I can't say we don't flight builds on Friday anymore can I? No new build this Friday though."
Meanwhile, noted Windows screenshot leaker "WZor" posted some new images, along with the release notes, for the currently unreleased Windows 10 build 10135. The screenshots show only a few minor changes, and the release note reflect that, with the biggest change being that the "Get Skype" app is now pre-installed on the desktop.
Microsoft plans to officially launch Windows 10 for the PC on July 29.
