We love browsing our forums here at Windows Central, and during the last few weeks we noticed a lot of people venturing out into the world of smartphones and trying new mobile platforms, such as iOS and Android. On the heels of my recent Microsoft ecosystem on Android write-up, I'm curious to see how many of you are curious about what the other side is like.

Of course, flirting with the "enemy" can be dangerous. But in this case, I wouldn't say it's a bad thing. Windows 10 Mobile right now isn't doing too well, and thanks to Microsoft's poor communication and failure to show us it's committed to the platform, it makes that people flocking to other platforms. Android is a popular option for Windows phone users, because you can customize it however you like.

Disclaimer: This is purely opinion with some facts sprinkled in. I actually love windows mobile, but it no longer loves me. I’ve had a windowsphone since Verizon took their good old time releasing the HTC trophy. That was fresh and actually cool compared to my aging OG Droid with the slider keyboard. Anyone that remembers those days when the people hub was awesome and the camera...

We have an awesome thread on the forums right now, in which our lovely community is sharing experiences using Android from the perspective of Microsoft users. If you're also flirting with the enemy, we want to hear about your experience. What's worked out well? And what hasn't? Hit the link below and let us know.
