Microsoft introduced tablet mode in Windows 8 and forced it upon all users, regardless of whether or not they were actually using a tablet. It led to changes that allowed those on desktop and notebooks to bypass this mode and use the traditional desktop alone. Windows 10 ships with a tablet mode but it's optional. Do you still use it or do you find the desktop experience to be just fine on tablets?

Forum member Hansani Archibald actually enjoyed the experience that Windows 8 brought to market and feels like the current tablet mode to be a little watered down.

How do you all feel about Windows 10 Tablet mode? I really loved it on Windows 8.1. I don't hate it now but I feel like something more cam be done? Maybe some kind of aesthetic that combines windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile? I'm not a developer so I don't know how feasible that would be?

For me, I'm not a massive fan of tablet mode in Windows 10 and I was never really fond of Windows 8 as a whole. When rocking the Surface out and about, I enjoy using Windows 10 as the full package. But I'm open to trying new things and if Microsoft can enhance the tablet mode to add more functionality that makes more sense for me to make the switch then I'll happily give it another go. What do you use?
