AT&T has now confirmed that it will start selling Microsoft's Lumia 640 XL on Friday, June 26 for $249.99 without a contract. The Windows Phone 8.1 device will be sold in AT&T's retail stores and online.

AT&T stated:

"Qualified customers can purchase the Lumia 640 XL for $0 down on an AT&T Next plan, paying $8.34 per month with 30 device payments on Next 24, $10.42 per month at 24 payments on Next 18, or $12.50 per month at 20 payments on Next 12."

The 5.7-inch smartphone will be sold with matte black and matte white color options. Just a reminder: The Lumia 640 XL has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera.
