We knew it was coming, and now it's finally arrived. EA's epic World War One shooter, Battlefield 1 is now in the EA Access vault for subscribers to download and play.

You'll just be getting the base game for now, but that means you get to play the stunning campaign and jump into plenty of multiplayer action. That includes the giant 64-man battles that take place across sprawling maps set in a time when horses were just as likely to grace the battlefield as a tank.

It's a hefty download coming in at 56GB so you'll need a little free time to install, but if you're an EA Access subscriber (and why wouldn't you be?!) then fire up the app on your Xbox One and go get it.

And if you'd prefer to play on PC, it's also in the Origin Access vault, too.
