Electronic Arts hosted live 64-player matches in the upcoming WWI-based shooter Battlefield 1 at its EA Play event during E3 2016, and the footage showed some massive battles.

The footage was recorded by IGN's and showed three rounds of the Battlefield 1 map where the Germans faced off against the United Kingdom forces in a European countryside setting. The videos show a lot of the destructible buildings in the level, along with many of the game's weapons and vehicles, including the massive Behemoth zeppelins. We also got to see examples of Battlefield 1's dynamic weather system, which can change from sunny skies to rain unpredictably.

Battlefield 1 is officially released on October 21 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can pay some extra money for the Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition which adds some free content and will be released three days earlier on October 18.
