Call of Duty Black Ops III

Xbox One owners can now pre-order the digital versions of Activision's upcoming first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops III once again. The listings for both the standard and deluxe digital versions have been quietly put back on the Xbox store site, after being removed just as quietly a number of days ago.

Neither Microsoft nor Activision have commented on the specific reasons for the removal of those listings, nor on why they are now back in the Xbox store. However, it's worth noting that the digital versions of Black Ops III for the Xbox One have not yet returned to Amazon's site as well.

In any case, Xbox One owners who don't want to bother with old-fashioned discs can now pre-order the $59.99 standard version of Call of Duty: Black Ops III from the Xbox store, along with the $99.99 Deluxe version that adds the game's Season Pass worth of post-release DLC packs. The game itself will be released on November 6.
