Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is launching a full month of Halloween fun throughout October.

Why confine Halloween to just one day when you can have a whole month? That's the thinking behind the latest event to kick off in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which launches a full month of Halloween-themed multiplayer goodness. Appropriately called "Halloween Scream," the event includes some multiplayer perks, as well as a boss battle mode and new themed gear.

In total, Halloween Scream is set to run from October 9 through November 1. During that time, players will get a Halloween-themed supply drop at the beginning of each week, as well as a cosmetic item every Friday. More Halloween-themed gear and loot is also available, including zombie-themed Rig skins. Here's a look at what else players can check out in October:

In terms of modes and gameplay, a boss battle mode that starts on October 13 will let players take on the bosses from each of the game's zombie mode chapters. A "Gesture Warfare" mode runs through October 12, allowing players to "humiliate and annihilate their opponents," with gestures. Lastly, the Carnage multiplayer map will be open to all players for free with double XP starting October 12.

That's a whole lot of Halloween content that should be a good time for anyone still diving into Infinite Warfare's multiplayer. This comes just ahead of the launch of the next entry in the series, Call of Duty: WWII on November 3.
