Minecraft

Minecon, the convention for all things Minecraft, is upon us this coming weekend and the good news is you can watch it unfold live on your Xbox One or Xbox 360.

The broadcast will be done through Twitch so you'll also be able to catch it on any device you can tune into the service through. Phone, tablet, PC, it's all good. Why are we so interested? Besides Minecraft being a big deal for Microsoft, we learned at E3 that we'll be seeing more of the HoloLens version.

And who isn't interested in all things HoloLens?

The event takes place July 4 and 5 and since it's held in London it means a really late night or early start for folks on the West Coast. Here's how the schedule looks:

Saturday

  • 2:00am PT Streams Live
  • 2:30am PT – 3:30am PT – Opening Ceremony (Main Stream and Stage Stream)
  • 3:30am PT – 11:00amPT – Day content from Studio, Main Stage and Panel rooms throughout the day (all streams)
  • 11:30am PT – 8:30pm PT – Re-stream of content from the day for US audience (all streams)

Sunday

  • 2:00am PT Streams Live
  • 2:45am PT – 3:00am PT – Welcome! (Main Stream)
  • 3:00am PT – 9:00am PT – Day content from Studio, Main Stage and Panel rooms throughout the day (all streams)
  • 9:00am PT – 10:00am PT – Closing Ceremony
  • 10:30am PT – 05:30pm PT – Re-stream of content from the day for US audience (all streams)
