With completely re-designed interfacing for Xbox controllers, Cities: Skylines is shaping up to be a stellar entry in the Xbox One software catalog, and it's launching sooner rather than later.

On April 21st, 2017, Xbox One players will get their hands on Cities: Skylines for the first time and pre-orders are now live!

Cities: Skylines puts you in charge of vast landscapes to develop and grow as you see fit. Building on gameplay elements pioneered by the Sim City series, Cities: Skylines takes the idea simulated urban planning to all new levels.

Cities: Skylines will challenge players to manage not only infrastructure, utilities, and accommodation, but also education policies, district laws, and intensive traffic simulations.

Cities: Skylines for Xbox One will also include the After Dark expansion, which adds dynamic day and night cycles. Add nightclubs, evening transport systems, and manage additional hazards as you attempt to create bustling nightlife for your ideal town.

We went hands-on with Cities: Skylines for Xbox One at an event in San Francisco back in February, and early signs were extremely positive.
