Lumia 640

AT&T's no-contract subsidiary Cricket Wireless has made good on its press release earlier this week and is now selling the Lumia 640 smartphone from Microsoft. The 5-inch phone comes in a cyan color and is priced at $129.99.

The Lumia 640 comes with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 out of the box. Inside it has a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, and a 1MP front-facing camera. Cricket Wireless is selling the Lumia 640 bundled with one free year of Office 365 Personal from now until June 30, which is normally worth $69.99. Office 365 Personal also comes with 60 free calling minutes, via Skype, per month for a year. Finally, the phone comes with up to 30GB of free storage on OneDrive.

We are still waiting for T-Mobile to begin selling its own version of the Lumia 640. Its website still lists the smartphone as "Coming soon".
