Deck out your Xbox One X with a wild custom skin or paint job from ColorWare

If you were left a little nonplussed about about black being the only color option for the upcoming Xbox One X at launch, you're probably not alone. But if you're willing to spend a little extra money on your console, the good news is you can deck it out in any color you choose.

Just as it did with the Xbox One S, ColorWare has announced that it is now offering custom paint jobs and skins for the Xbox One X.

ColorWare's website will allow you to pick and choose practically any color combo you can think of for the Xbox One X. The holy grail is likely the custom paint job, which allows you to choose from 29 solid or metallic colors for the top and bottom of the console, as well as the front and back of the included controller. You can also pick from either a glossy or matte finish. Of course, this is by far the most expensive option, totaling $749 (included the cost of the console).

Far less expensive are ColorWare's custom skins. In all, you can pick up either glossy or matte solid color skins, as well as stone, leather, wood, metal and carbon fiber finishes in various styles. You can pick a separate skin for the top, front, bottom, and sides — meaning you can get pretty crazy with different combinations if you really wanted to. All told, a full skin set will run $33.

Chances are most will stick with the deep black Microsoft has gone for as the Xbox One X's base color. But if you're looking to spice things up a bit, you can preorder customizations from ColorWare now.
