Dell is boosting its UltraSharp monitor lineup with a new curved ultrawide beauty. Simply called the UltraSharp 38 (U3818DW), the 38-inch display joins the increasingly popular category of ultrawide displays that offer up a ton of extra horizontal workspace when compared to traditional 16:9 monitors.
As for specs, the UltraSharp 38's 21:9 aspect ratio is borne out by WQHD (3440x1440) resolution. The monitor also packs in dual 9-watt speakers, and is powered by a single 100-watt USB Type-C cable. There's no word on refresh rate or response time, unfortunately, but Dell is promising the display will be a boon for productivity applications.
For all of that space, you'll have to be willing to pay a premium, however. The UltraSharp 38 will run a cool $1,499. If you've got the money, you can look forward to grabbing the U3818DW directly from Dell starting June 23.
