Dell's Latitude 7285 2-in-1 with wireless charging is now available

Following its initial debut at CES in January, Dell has launched the Latitude 7285, the first 2-in-1 tablet with wireless charging. The device is now available directly from Dell starting at $1,199.

The biggest draw of the Latitude 7285 is its wireless charging. The feature relies on magnetic resonance tech developed by WiTricity, which enables wireless charging through a combination of the device's detachable keyboard and a charging mat. Just place the Latitude 7285 and keyboard on the mat, and it will begin charging.

The device itself is powered by Intel's latest 7th-generation Kaby Lake processors and either 8GB or 16GB of RAM. Storage options are available in up to 512GB of SSD storage, though there's also a microSD card slot that you can use for more. The Latitude 7285 also packs in a 12-inch 2880x1920 IGZO display, and it is even Windows Hello-compatible with a built-in IR camera.

You can order the Latitude 7285 at Dell, along with the optional keyboard, directly from Dell starting at $1,199 now.
