What you need to know

  • Epic Games Store recently got cloud save support for a number of games.
  • Owners can now save their game progress on titles like Alan Wake and more.
  • You can see the list of supported titles below.
  • The Epic Games Store client may need to be updated to use this feature.

Just like any storefront, the Epic Games Store is frequently updated with new features. You may be surprised by this, but cloud saves were a rarity on the platform until now. Today, the company announced the latest update "includes cloud saves" and Humble Bundle keyless integration."

It doesn't seem like every game supports cloud saves because the team added that it added "cloud save support for the following games over the past month." Hopefully, the list will grow in the coming weeks and months.

  • Alan Wake
  • Close to the Sun
  • Darksiders III
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • Genesis Alpha One
  • GNOG
  • Hyperlight Drifter
  • Kingdom New Lands
  • Limbo
  • Moonlighter
  • Mutant Year Zero
  • Overcooked
  • Rebel Galaxy Outlaw
  • Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter
  • The Sinking City
  • This War Of Mine
  • World War Z

If you launch the Epic Games Store on your PC, you should get an automatic download that gives you access to the latest features. You can read about all the changes here.

Keep in mind that Ubisoft games have supported cloud saves since launch through Uplay. Do you use the Epic Games Store? Are you excited for this feature almost every other platform has? Let us know.
