Hands-on with the extremely customizable NuAns Neo

While checking out all of the new gadgets and tech at CES 2016, we got a chance to check out the NuAns Neo, an interesting new Windows 10 Mobile phone out of Japan. In the video below, we go hands-on with the NuAns Neo and check its features, including the many different rear cover designs available.

The big draw with the NuAns Neo is that customers can choose from back covers for both the top and the bottom of the phone. With a total of 64 possible combinations, buyers can express their style with wood, suede, and more. In addition, NuAns is offering different styles of Flip covers that automatically wake the phone when opened and put it to sleep when closed.

As far as straight tech specs are concerned, the NuAns Neo features a 5-inch 1280x720 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The phone also supports Continuum and carries a USB Type-C port on board.

The NuAns Neo is only available in Japan for the moment for 42,700 yen ($378), but the company hopes to make it available in the U.S. in the future.
