HyperX announces two new Alloy series mechanical gaming keyboards — The Alloy Elite and Alloy FPS Pro.

HyperX, part of Kingston Technology, has announced two new mechanical keyboards to join the Alloy series of gaming peripherals. Both the Alloy Elite and Alloy FPS Pro bring new designs, LED setups and experiences to the table for those seeking quality keyboards. The new mechanical keyboards will be made available come August 21 through the company's official store, followed by participating retailers.

HyperX Alloy Elite

The new Alloy Elite includes red LED backlighting that we've come to expect from HyperX. Utilizing a solid steel frame for enhanced durability, this is a keyboard that can be taken to LAN events without issue, and the dedicated media buttons (with volume wheel to boot) allow for quick function activation without having to waste time looking at key combinations. There's USB 2.0 passthrough, textured WASD keys, as well as full N-Key rollover.

There's also a detachable palm rest for those extended gaming sessions and the cabling is breaded.

HyperX Alloy FPS Pro

The new Alloy FPS Pro, we're looking at a tenkeyless version of the Alloy FPS, which we adored in our review. Not only does this save valuable space, but makes the keyboard itself that much easier to carry around. Similar to the Alloy Elite, there are textured WASD keys, full N-Key rollover, braided cabling, and USB passthrough.

As noted already, the new Alloy Elite and Alloy FPS will be made available on August 21 in the U.S. for $109.99 and $79.99, respectively.
