A lot of changes have occurred in the gaming industry lately. We've seen Xbox's Mike Ybarra join Blizzard Entertainment, and The Initiative scoop up some great talent. Today, we received word of another exciting hire. inXile Entertainment, the studio acquired by Microsoft and founded by Brian Fargo, added 10-year Blizzard veteran and former World of Warcraft Lead Producer Ray Cobo as the studio's Executive Producer this week.

inXile's President, Chris Keenan, said the following when discussing Cobo's hiring.

The Microsoft acquisition has allowed us to add some exceptional talent, and we're looking forward to the wealth of experience Ray is bringing to our growing game studio.

Cobo will set new production standards and hopefully, this will lead to better quality games. Ray Cobo said the following about his move.

It's exciting to be able to bring my experience from leading a team of producers on a giant, always-online world to the focused and complex RPG experiences inXile is known for.

Cobo is undeniablyy an unexpected addition to the inXile talent. It's definitely an exciting time for Microsoft and gamers who follow the company.
