Jump Force is a fighting game where you can play as a variety of famous anime characters in one experience. Heroes from Bleach and Naruto Shippuden make an appearance to save the world from unprecedented threats. A lot of gamers have been looking forward to this crossover experience ever since it was announced.

Jump Force is available now on Xbox One and other platforms. It's Xbox One X Enhanced and Microsoft said that it runs at 4K resolution on the console. However, an analysis by Digital Foundry was able to provide more details. The Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 4 Pro versions all run at 1080p. Yes, that's correct, even the PlayStation 4 Pro only manages 1080p. However, the outlet said that out of all the consoles, only the Xbox One X achieves native 4K resolution. There doesn't appear to be any dynamic resolution as well.

The fact that the Xbox One X achieves the crispest visuals shouldn't come as a shock given its power advantage over the competition, but we never expected the PlayStation 4 Pro to be capped at 1080p. Usually games are 1440p on the system. Hopefully the developer will issue a patch to upgrade the system's visual quality if possible.

In our review, we said, "None of these issues are enough to bring a fighting game down on their own, but together they make for an excruciating exercise in patience, and I might have been able to find that patience if the game at large had more to offer. Its hyper-focus on gameplay does it no favors in that regard. Wait for a sharp discount if you must have it."
